Flowers V
I am curious whether you prefer the look of my WordPress hosted blog Diane Clancy or the look of this blog right here. I suppose they both look pretty nice, but I am lucky enough that several of you come and read and comment most days. So, I would like to know your input. I can’t do some of the fun whistles and bells on the other blog – and, obviously, I do like those extras!

Switching blogs here, I like the clean bright look of the Blogger blog I started the other day – Diane Clancy Art. At the moment I have put my Esty shop on the sidebar. I like seeing the bright colorful images there! Between the banner, the Etsy shop, and the painting in the post, I love the look. I sort of hate to post anything else because it looks so pretty – to me, at least.
Yesterday, I added more complete search capabilities to this blog (this one here). It now searches tags, comments, everything – not only the posts. So if you want to look at an old post and can’t find it (because I use the names of my paintings), now hopefully you can find it!

Hi Neda,
Thank you for asking … Yesterday was a too full day … so I am very tired today.
But the good news is that I worked for a couple of hours and I think I have finished Reflections in Blue IV. It has been an arduous process … there is nothing like trying to go back to finish out a series, rather than doing it fresh. But I am glad it is done – or rather, when Susan gets home, I want her eyes to take a look too. But it is close!
Trying to decide about web hosting right now … don’t like decisions like this … but – wait! – I am a business woman and enjoying it! So fine, but tired.

Hi Diane,
While I typically like the look of most blogs just because they’re so minimalistic, I’ll have to say that I like the look of the Blogspot site more, just because of the vibrancy of the colors and the juxtaposition of the rough edges in the art to the smooth lines of the page. Now, if you were to incorporate that bright style of header graphic onto this site, I think you might be on to something!

I agree with Aaron, the header of the Blogger one looks the best. I might like the look of the wordpress.com one a little better than this one, only because the sidebar is more compartmentalized and easier to separate while I’m reading.

I couldn’t understand some parts of this article Flowers V, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.
