Our great grandparents wouldn't have know what to do with a phone - yet many of us on the web just know how to use a phone - it is obvious - we grew up with them. Though I still don't know how to use a cell phone - I don't have one. But seriously, part of why I added a category (technology) yesterday, was so that you (and I) CAN come back and re-find information that I know I will probably need to look at again.
